Nicole Hutchinson MACP, RCC, CCTP-II, CFTP
Nicole Hutchinson is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. She is certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional Level II (CCTP-II) and as a Certified Family Trauma Professional (CFTP), treating complex trauma, PTSD, and dissociation in children, youth, adults, and families. Nicole’s empathic and warm approach creates a nurturing environment conducive to developing a rich therapeutic relationship.
She is committed to understanding the roots of how clients currently feel and experience life, providing dedicated support for their journey towards mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness. Nicole has been effective in treating a broad range of issues, including anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts and behaviours, self-harm, chronic physical pain, post-traumatic stress, addiction, anger and rage, grief and loss, ADHD, borderline personality disorder, and bipolar affective disorder.
With 15 years of experience working with families who have faced trauma, grief, and loss, particularly related to foster care, adoption, and attachment challenges, Nicole is well-equipped to help parents understand their children’s often complex behaviours and to provide attachment-based strategies to enhance family well-being. Nicole prefers working with the caregiver and child together but is open to seeing children under the age of 13 individually, depending on the specific case.

Julie Lidstone MSW, RSW
Julie brings over 20 years of experience in counselling and mental health. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in clinical practice (counselling). She offers individual counselling for children, youth, and adults, as well as couples and family therapy.
Julie supports clients navigating concerns such as relationship conflict, parenting challenges, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. She also has extensive experience working with foster and adoptive families and the complex attachment and behavioural dynamics that can arise.
Her approach integrates evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, the Gottman Method for couples, and attachment-focused models such as Circle of Security and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI).
Julie welcomes clients from all backgrounds and can provide a faith-informed Christian perspective when requested. She is registered with the BC College of Social Workers and the Alberta College of Social Workers and can provide counselling services to clients residing in either province.
